$KALAM rewards distribution to start from July 15th, Thursday (Tomorrow)!

When Kalamint was started, the role of the community was of paramount importance and this holds true even today. As a thank you to our extremely supportive community, we are dropping $KALAM, the native Kalamint token to your Kalamint associated wallet.

What can you do with $KALAM?

- Governance on the Kalamint platform

- Payments for the hives (Information to be released soon)

- Payments on the Kalamint platform (Not active currently)

- Staking($KALAM is currently Farming on Crunchy.network)

Who will receive the rewards?

All creators, buyers, and sellers on Kalamint will receive rewards in the form of $KALAM tokens.

Do you need to apply or provide your wallet address anywhere to receive the rewards?

No. The system automatically sends the rewards to the wallet connected to your Kalamint account.

How are the rewards calculated?

As mentioned in the $KALAM tokenomics and distribution document, an average emission of 33,333.33 $KALAM per week will be distributed as rewards totaling 133,333.33 $KALAM every month.

The rewards each week are going to be distributed like this:

10% (3333.332 KALAM) to minters irrespective of sales.

40% (13333.332 KALAM) to sellers proportional to the value of the sale.

50% (16666.665 KALAM) to buyers proportional to the value of the buy.

Distribution schedule

15 July — Will address all transactions between 23 March and 26 April.

22 July — Will address all transactions between 27 April and 24 May

29 July — Will address all transactions between 25 May and 21 June

5 August — Will address all transactions between 22 June and 19 July

12 August — Will address all transactions between 20 July and 12 August

From the Thursday succeeding 12 August, all the rewards will be distributed on a weekly basis as all retrospective rewards will already be distributed.
